Christy joined PsyCare in 2009. She graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College in 1998 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and from West Virginia University in 2000 with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Christy specializes in individual, couples, group and therapy with all age groups. She also offers therapy with the use of emotional support dogs. Christy has gained the highest level of licensure in her field since 2004, and has presented on a local and national level. She serves as an adjunct professor for West Virginia University Institute of Technology, and was recently appointed as a responding clinician in the disaster response procedures for a branch of Alpha Natural Resources.
